Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely famous. As a child Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by a lot of Americans. Her confidence began to grow during the 9th grade, when she entered a school audition. She received a lot of praise by the judges for her vocal ability. This not only increased her confidence, but it was also a change in the direction in which she went on to pursue her professional career. In 1992 she graduated with her diploma from the New York's Julliard School. In 1993, she made her Broadway debut in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was You've Got Mail. The character of The Lad of The Lake was her biggest breakthrough, bringing herself the Tony Award in addition to critical acclaim for her role. The following year, she appeared on the ABC program Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider appreciation for her performance. The actress is also a renowned artist and produced an extended show. She also works as a LGBT activist.
