Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and performer best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her professional career as an actor on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Later, in 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway along with Li'l abner. She released her album It's too late for Tina in the same year. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was when she played Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years Tapping has also emerged as a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 28th August 1965, her family moved to Toronto at the age of three. Her childhood was spent in Toronto and through her teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has remained there ever since.
